It is the largest Roman Funerary comples in Egypt that dates back to the second century AD. Continue to Citadel of Fortqaitbey. This citadel is the further most edifices of the harbors arm. The fort is the original site of Pharaoh Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse built in 279 BC to a height of 12meters and topped with the Statue of Poseidon. Proceed to visit Pompey’s Pillar, a Roman triumphal column in Alexandria and the largest of its type constructed outside the imperial capitals of Rome and Constantinople.
